Vision Science Master of Science

About us

The Master of Science degree requires a minimum of 30 semester credit hours of coursework, an independent research project, and completion of a thesis. Coursework is chosen according to the student's interests, in consultation with his or her advisor.

The Ohio State University College of Optometry offers you a special opportunity to explore careers in optometry, tour our clinical facilities, learn more about the admissions process, and meet with college faculty, students, and administrators at our Fall Visit Day on Saturday, November 5. We encourage high school and college students, as well as any academic and career counselors to attend this event.
